Metropolitan Avenue [5-29-22]
Late on the night of Sunday, May 29th, 2022, the North Bellmore Fire Department was called to a report of a car fire on Metropolitan Avenue off Lincoln Boulevard. North Bellmore Engine 655 was the first unit to arrive on scene, confirmed the car fire, and went on to put one hand line into operation. The fire was quickly knocked down and there were no injuries. All fire department units were under the command of North Bellmore Chief of Department White [6500].
