Grand Avenue [12-8-21]
On the evening of Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, the Baldwin Fire Department operated on the scene of a motor vehicle accident with overturn on Grand Avenue closest to Wallace Avenue. The accident occurred when a Hyundai SUV struck two parked vehicles causing it to overturn. The driver of the SUV, the only occupant inside of the automobile, was able to self-extricate and moments later allegedly fled the scene on foot. Fortunately, there were no injuries. Baldwin firefighters secured all vehicles involved in the accident before being released from the scene.
