Shepherd Lane [9-22-17]

In the early morning hours of Friday, September 22nd, 2017 the Levittown Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire with the possibility of people inside at 44 Shepherd Lane off Poultry Lane. When firefighters arrived on scene they found that all occupants had safely made it out of the home. Upon making their way into the home firefighters found that they had fire on the second floor of the two-story private dwelling. Two hand lines were stretched, with at least one going into operation, off first due Levittown Engine 625. The fire briefly became auto exposed on the number one side of the home; however, firefighters made a quick knockdown and kept the fire from extending further. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
