The Roosevelt Fire Department operated on the scene of a fully involved bus fire on the morning of Monday, October 9th, 2017. The fire was located on Bennett Avenue off St. Francis Street. Roosevelt Engine 733 was the first engine to arrive on scene and had one hand line stretched and operated to fight the fire. Several occupants who were onboard the bus made it safely off and there were no injuries. All fire department units were under the command of Roosevelt Chief Fennell.
